INDIVIDUAL: Reboot & Recharge

A private, bespoke weekly or bi-weekly 1 hour session of movement and meditation for the corporate executive who wants to release mind-body stress and enhance clarity, productivity, results.

 
 

TEAM: MOVE, MEDITATE, MOTIVATE

A weekly 1 hour session for groups of team members who are seeking balance for body and mind, to return to the workday with renewed focus and energy, or unwind after a demanding workday.

 

TEAM: GATHER & CREATE

1/2 day retreat for 10-15 executives or team members, with sessions designed to ignite the team’s productivity, collaboration and creativity. Great compliment to off-sites or strategy sessions.

The company I work for kindly gave us the opportunity to practice yoga with Sona shortly after the coronavirus pandemic forced us all to adopt different working patterns. Like many people I was looking for something extra as a replacement to activities from my previous routine so started to attended weekly classes via Zoom.

Given the other physical pursuits I take part in (mainly running, cycling and walking), the yin yoga taught by Sona has been a perfect compliment. In addition it has had the added benefit of helping me integrate all of the challenges that have been thrown at us in recent times.

I have a job that throws a range of unexpected things at me every day, which can often be mentally exhausting to navigate. Ending the day with an hour of yin yoga certainly helps me reset and draw a line between work and home, which with enforced remote working has been a challenge!

As a portfolio manager for 23 years, my days were long, tied to the market, and packed with tons of information to process. I ended most days feeling depleted. I began practicing yoga with Sona in early 2020. Although I have practiced yoga for many years, I had always squeezed in yoga during the early mornings before work. Working from home enabled me to add practice with Sona in the middle of the day. And having time with her on my calendar meant that I remained committed to making the time to practice.

Sona’s vast knowledge allows her to draw on a broad range of practices, including flow, yin yoga, self massage, pranayama (breath work), and inversions. She is intuitive and creative in shaping our practices, so that they are always varied and relevant.
